A light and fluffy biscuit – perfect with afternoon tea.


  • 200g butter
  • 200g icing sugar
  • 5 Bird Bros eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 300g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 60ml milk


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6.

  2. Beat butter and icing sugar until light and creamy.

  3. Mix in eggs one by one.

  4. Add vanilla extract.

  5. Sieve together flour and baking powder and add to the egg mixture with the milk. Beat together well.

  6. Fill a piping bag and pipe small drops onto greased baking parchment on a baking tray.

  7. Bake for 15 minutes.
