Fork Egg-in-a-Hole!

This is the perfect breakfast for a lazy Sunday morning!


  • 2 slices of your favourite bread
  • 2 Bird Bros eggs
  • Butter
  • 2 tbsps chopped parsley
  • Salt and ground pepper, to taste


  1. Using a pastry cutter, cut out the center of the bread.

  2. Place a frying pan over a medium heat. Add a little butter and once it has melted, swirl to coat the pan.

  3. Add the bread to the pan and let it cook on that side until golden. Flip the bread over.

  4. Adding a little more butter into the empty centres of the bread, crack an egg into each hole. Turn the heat to low, cover and cook for about 2 - 3 minutes or until the eggs have cooked through.

  5. Toast the cut out bread pieces in the pan as well and use for dipping in the egg!

  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, salt and pepper to serve.
